Why then go on their network and add to their ratings? This is the transparent administration remember???? They are the ones that said they were going to be open and honest.
September 21, 200917 yr I'm not sure. Every administration has a media strategy. I sincerely doubt this is the first one to "work the refs" as Wallace put it. Wallace implied that all did it. This administration is just the biggest crybabies about it.
September 21, 200917 yr I don't think this position in media management should come as a surprise to anyone. Obama's advisors had drawn a line in the sand long before they were officially an administration. Apparently Chris Wallace has forgotten how "space had run out" on Obama's campaign plane during the final swing, and reporters from Washington Post, New York Post, and Dallas Morning News were "left at the gate and given travel vouchers for future flights". I hope George Stephanopoulus enjoyed his last interview to be granted by the current administration. Has Robert Gibbs announced yet that all Merriam-Webster dictionaries will be pulled from public libraries and schools? Please explain.

Just a reference to Stephanopoulus' interview on Sunday with Mr. Obama when he apparently shuffled from the bottom of the pre-stacked deck and asked the President some hard hitting questions. Regarding the use of the term,"fine", in the health care reform proposal, George S. cited Merriam-Webster dictionary's definition of tax. He challenged the President on his promise to not tax middle-class America. Things got a bit testy and heated. My comment is just a tongue-in-cheek reference to the current administration's propensity to condescend ,minimize, discredit, and squash anything that stands between them and their ability to convey their message (i.e., Fox News, talk radio, teabaggers, town hall protesters, Sarah Palin, bloggers, conservative newspapers, some White House reporters, and anything Rupert Murdoch). I think most of us welcome the opportunity to have open dialogue on the merits of a topic, not the suppression of such opposing viewpoints.
