If there is ever going to be a year where LCA beats LC this will be it. At home with a lot of good players and LC looks to be a little down.

IMO ... I'll buy in on Hayden being a D1 prospect. Witt and Burdette I see as excellent players but below D1. West I have not seen so I don't have an opinion.

This game is the culmination of LC-LCA Rilvalry Week. The two schools are playing each other in all falls sports this week: Boys/Girls Soccer, Boys/Girls Golf, Volleyball, and Football. There are also in school competitions this week. The schools will compete in a charity food drive and a denim drive(Habitiat for Humanity takes old denim jeans, jackets ect. and shreds them to use for insulation in new homes they build.) There is a joint pep rally for the two schools at LCA's gym tonight. Faculty vs Faculty volleyball game. For each win(including the charity drives), that school will get one point for a running total. At the end of the week, the school with the most points will recive a trophy to remain at one of the two schools for the rest of the year. Both schools look to establish a great school to school rilvalry for years to come.

 

Love this!!! I would like to see other schools pick up on this idea.

LCA will give Lex Cath all they want, but Lex Cath is to deep and will wear them down....I saw this first hand at the Lone Oak matchup...It will be close early and LCA may even have a lead of 2 or more touchdowns but the speed and strength of Lex Cath's lines will wear on the smaller school and will be to much to overcome for 4 quarters......41-32 Lex Cath wins this one going away...........

I predict 250+ yards for Hayden.

Bluto, its good to be back and I really enjoy hearing from all the people which are discussing this game, as much as Id like LCA to win since I am the very proud parent of no. 6, I think its very harde for any single A school to beat a 4A school. I like the chances for LCA if they will look at this game as playing another team and not look at the jersey with the name on it. We need to stay close and maybe we can get a few extra plays from some of our skill players and hopefully our defense can hold up to the on slaught of players catholic will bring. i think it will be similiar to how Winston Guy did the QB from Lone Oak 2 years ago, one rush after another.

I can see Hayden going to WKU because his brother plays there, but aside from Hayden, I think Burdette will be playing after high school. The kid can catch anything u throw at him and can jump over the moon. He is very coachable but will take a play or two off at times. I think Witt will play baseball and West is a given to play D1 football, he is a monster of a kid with very little body fat.
