Boyle County scored 42 points against the Rock. The Pulaski Co. team is not even in the same league as Boyle. I have watched the Rock play twice this year, and I don't see anyone scoring 42 points on their defense the rest of this season. The Rock has 11 defensive players that "all" look for a hard hit!

I'm not sure on your reasoning. Wouldn't Rockcastle have to play Boyle in the playoffs? I don't think the Rockets would play them that "close" again, I think the Rebels will score more next time......anyway, I think Rockcastle will play well this week and while I think their defense is above average, their offense is well below average. Their offense will do more damage than North Laurel's did and that was a lot. As far as Boyle County goes, that would be for the Semi's. I don't think anyone is thinking that far ahead and Rock did lead Boyle County for a while and kept it very close a lot longer than most predicted. Eastham is a better passer than Muse, but Rock beat PC last year with him, no reason they can't they can't do it this year.

I didn't say they would threaten Boyle County later, only that it is not in their minds at this time. They played Boyle County better than most would think and no one would argue that Boyle County is a machine this year.

 

If they removed the starters, that would seem to me that either A) the coaching staff didn't evaluate that well or B) lesser talented kids are now playing in their place because I also saw the Somerset game and the Jumpers abused the PC D-line just as bad and that was after the NL game. PC has not played anyone since that would even compare to Rock.

I am sorry PC, but Rock will stop you. this is the toughest D you are going to face and it is at Rock. A certain loss for sure. The boys are ready and I am sure ill feelings from last year will inspire the Rock boys to play harder.

Rock has no ill feelings from last years game. We were outmanned and played our butt off to beat a excellent team who lost their quarterback in the first half. We are under no illusion ,Pulaski will have far more speed and talent and we much play hard nosed Rock football to have a chance. Don't mean Rock can't win they just need their A game.

The rock players had a little run in with a few PC players last year at Pulaski Fair and PC players running their mouths about how bad they were going to beat us. It really fired our kids up. From what I hear our kids still remember it and hold grudges. Rock will roll tonight.

If they need that to get them fired up they are playing for the wrong reasons. Rock will not need anything else to get them going a W is a enough.
