Barnes has been taking licks since hehas been a Freshman on the varsity field I'm more than sure he can handle it.

Barnes is Tiny, he will struggle when faster teams start laying licks on him.

 

I don't know about outcome of the game, as it will be a battle of two different offensive attacks, but I am sure that the Barnes kid can play & he will have success and compete no matter the level of competition.

Barnes is tougher than most people think. Like grid iron said he has taken licks over the last 4 years and he continues to play hard.

And who forgets who all is in the backfield with him. A true freshman in Hopkins who has 3 TD's on the year, and a fullback in Myers that is averaging 9 yds a carry. This game will be better than most expect.:banana:

This is a funny game. I have seen both teams play, the Royals have many more athletes than the Colonels, but Mason cannot touch Bourbon up front. If the Bourbon's front 5 can get the Barnes kid going this could get interesting.

 

This brings me to another point, this Barnes kid does not get enough credit around this area, his team has been down the last few years, and he has gone unnoticed at QB I think, but this kid can absolutely run the ball. I don't think he is a Fugate, or McShara, or McCaden (sp?) Weaver, or Simpson but take those 5 out and I would put him against anyone around this area .... especially with Bourbon's front 5

I'm pulling for Bourbon, I like to see the underdog win but I think Mason will be too much for Bourbon to handle.

Mason by 20.

Mason can hurt you on any play from any where on the field. Already two fumble returns for touchdowns and a kick return for a touchdown in only two games. I'll be very surprised if Bourbon wins.

Let's recount for BoCo then. BoCo has recovered 5 fumbles already this year. We have 1 interception and a punt return for 70+ yards for a TD.

Bourbon hasn't had to use their passing game. The run game is strong. But with all the opinions going on, it is just 1 day away to settle it. And both sides will be pepared for a battle. It will be good. Anything can happen under the lights.:ylsuper::popcorn:
