The 2-0 (112PF/26PA) KY2A Fort Campbell Falcons head to the city of Nashvegas to meet the 1-1 (30PF/49PA) TN3A Pearl Cohn Firebirds.

Pearl Cohn is ranked 233 by Max Preps in the entire state of Tennessee (with a National ranking of 8962) while the Falcons are ranked 5 in the state of Kentucky (with a National ranking of 337).

How do you think this will go and why?

I think that Pearl Cohn won't have the defense to stop the Falcon offense. Look for another high scoring from the Falcons. Falcons by 30.

As long as Ft. Campbell does not read too much of their own press...or message boards...then I don't think there is a team on their schedule that can beat them. The only team I think can stop Ft. Campbell is the Falcons themselves if they start taking teams for granted...I hope not because I like it when there are Western Kentucky schools that do well. Good luck to the Falcons this week in taking care of some Tennessee schools

Very true and I’m confident that Coach Berner and staff will keep the Falcon’s focused one game at a time.

As far as the Pearl Cohn game, I believe Fort Campbell should win by a comfortable margin.

FC keeps winning, but Pearl Cohn may have the best athletes the Falcons face this year. An inner-city magnet school from Nashville will have plenty of players. This is a game where Coach Berner's year-round football program will be the difference.

FC by three TDs

Oh boy, here we go again.....another one vote for the team playing Fort Campbell. Not knockin' the vote, or the person that voted that way, but step up to the plate and explain your reason. Besides the old "anyone can beat anyone on any given night" song and dance....explain why Pearl Cohn will beat Fort Campbell.

Pearl Cohn amassed a whopping 55 yards on 24 carries against Northeast, that's not gonna get it done against a stingy Falcon defense. Couldn't find the offensive stats for Northeast, but they did have an 88 yard gain in one run.

Somebody has to cheer for the underdog and just like there are secret admirers there are also secret haters. I think it is part of human nature.

I may be going out on a limb, but I am going to say Falcons by 48. I just don't think they can be stopped this year! A shut out is very possible here.

Go Fellow Falcons!!!:ylsuper:

Fort Campbell by a landslide. These falcons are for real as they move to 3-0.

Fort Campbell can crank the bus at halftime in this contest.

Go get'm Falcons!!!!

Well, it annoys me. I think that just about everyone on this board is very civil and we all act like adults, so posting your thoughts as to how Fort Campbell is going to get beat isn't something to be fearful of.

Oh well. Maybe I'll make the poll public next time, but then....the poster might not even vote.

That's all I'm gonna say about it from here on out, 'cause the only thing worse than beating a dead horse is betting on one. :deadhorse:

Ha, sorry I even forgot I voted so I wasn't aware you've been bashing me. Why did I vote for Pearl Cohn? 1)No Kentucky team may be able to beat FC right now, but a curveball from Tenn. might. 2) My daddy taught me to never let anything go unanimous. 3) I'll root for the underdog against the monster everyday of the week.

Grizzly 33.....Wow! Not a Great idea for this poll!!! Reality check...Fort Cambell will destroy this team with their freshman., and I am not from FC...I am a 2a rival. Fc beat us in semi-state last year and this squad is IMO better than that one.

Go Falcons
