I was just saying I don't think he has shown all of his potential. Go write a biography for him. :thumb:

Muncie is one of the best in the region if not the best that in the region IMO, but everyone as an opinion. I love watching the kid play ball.

I just don't think he is better than Hendrix. Especially with the bat.

Eagle... What was Hendrix batting average for the year last season?

I've seen Hendrix and Muncie both play and IMO Muncie isn't even close. I would say Hendrix is better with the bat and glove.

Muncie is a great player. I seen him play 3 or 4 times last season and I really don't see what all the buzz about him is he hasn't really proven hisself to me anyway.

who ever said there was a buzz? The forum is asking who will be the top players in the region next year, Muncie will be one of top players if not the top, he had the second most homeruns on powells team this year, somewhere over .300 batting average and an extremely good fielding average, if there was a buzz about him it would be well deserved looking at his freshman, sophomore and junior season.

With me I have never seen Hendrix play and I am sure he is as good of a player as you guys say, but Muncie is very good too, and I am not from Powell Co. either. I am sure I would love to see Hendrix play and I hope to next season. I just love the game and love watching good players play.

I have seen both Hendrix and Muncie play and they are definately two of the better players in the region if not the top 2. I feel Hendrix may have a better bat, but Muncie can handle the bat very well also. However, I feel they are both very good defensively.

I've had the privilege of seeing Hendrix play a few games. He is the real deal. What makes him so good is his speed and quickness. I seen him make some plays that others only wish they could make. When a kid comes from the short stop position and gets the ball on the other side of second base and throws the runner out, that's saying something. The game I saw he knocked the cover off. I talked to the leslie fans and they say he hardly ever strikes out. As for Muncie, I'm sure he is good but I can't imagine him being better than Hendrix.

I feel that Leslie will have 2 of the top 3 players in the region next season in Riley Hendrix & Quentin Morgan.

I agree with you on Hendrix but maybe you can shed a little information on Morgan for me. People tell me that he doesn't have an off speed pitch and he trys to overpower players. It's very hard to throw the ball past a good hitter.

I agree. Morgan learned that the hard way in the region tournament. He shook off an off speed pitch twice to throw Tipton a fastball that ended the game. However, Morgan is still one of the top pitchers in the region is not the top pitcher.

If coaches know the kids in the 14th then they feel Muncie is a better all around player than any other kid or they would not have voted him to the east/west team as one of only two juniors??? Muncie has hit well over 300 and closer to 400 for 4 straight years. Started as an 8th grader and has started on 2 regional runner up teams and 2 regional semi final teams already. Great speed, good glove and just a baseball player. doesn't play any other sports. Hendrix is a great player no doubt but if I was starting a team I would rather anchor it with Muncie at short. I belive the first one was a change up that got jacked out. The second he shook off and went with the fast ball I think is how it went.

He may be the best ALL AROUND but, Hendrix has a very good glove on him.
