AJG along with any others that are true BoSox fans and I am fine with, respect it and really have some fun exchanging jabs. This season isn't over at all yet and I believe that Boston will be a factor before all is said and done......imo just too much talent there to completely fold What is funny is some of the bandwagon Boston fans/Yankee haters that were having fun with the Yanks slow start are silent.. August 10, 200917 yr It's like I said when the Red Sox had won 8 straight, the Yankees are more talented than the Red Sox. Back then they weren't playing that way, but they are now. They've been more talented every year. The Yanks pitching just hasn't lived up to expectations recently...when it does, they're really good. I don't really care who wins the division, as long as Boston makes the playoffs. If the rotation is healthy, I like the Sox chances in any series.

There wasn't much to say about this weekend's series--the Yanks pitching was dominant. The Sox got 3 good starts from Beckett, Buchholz and Lester but couldn't get anything going offensively. I was a little disappointed in Ramirez getting tossed after hitting A-Rod on Saturday. I think the umpires were trying to make something out of nothing. I don't think the Yanks were throwing at Pedroia on Thursday and I don't think the Sox were throwing at Rodriguez on Saturday--the game situations just didn't warrant it. Anyway, great series by the Yanks and now the Sox need to get things going again at home. Getting healthy would be a great start.

I will give full credit t wherte it is due as well lkke early this season I said that the Sox (at that time) imo were the best team in baseball. You didn't quote me and I could be wrong but it seems like that is what he was saying when he said "the pitching hasn't lived up to expectations" :idunno:, meaning the Yankee pitching.

Exactly. They always bring somebody in...it just happens this year, the guys they already had and the ones they went out and earning their salary. And, the Yanks always have better talent in the lineup.
