Raider Rob is still celebrating that Hammonds is gone at West- he might have a chance now- dont know if West will play the same kind of tenacity on D with him gone

The state deserves the opportunity to see Watts on a big stage. I hope to see him at the Sweet Sixteen.

I also hope to see Mr. Watts in Rupp this season. I believe this is Raider Rob's year to break thru and get to Rupp. I think there is several teams capable of making a run and putting up a fight for the regional title this year.

I think the pressure is on Raider Rob to win it this year or maybe give it up. Im just not sure he can get by Wayne, Lincoln or West. Plus he still has to contend with Southwestern in the district and their coach has owned Rob in years past.

Our roundball Raiders will be just fine. The dynamic duo will transition from football to basketball and take it to everyone on the hardwood. Don't forget their supporting cast with Wright, Dixon, and Williams this should be the year for the Roundball Raiders.

It should come down to them and West Jess. for a trip to Rupp.

I heard that Polson was transferring. Any truth to the rumor?

They should be one of the top teams in the region. Knocking on the door to get to Rupp.

Thats the first I have heard of it.

McCreary will be ready to play with anyone. They should walk through the region, no one else has the talent McCreary has. Only lost one player from last year. Should have been in Rupp then.

You're kidding, right?

Thats crazy, MCCreary has a lot talent I agree, BUT Wayne, West, Mercer , Lincoln and other teams has a lot talent also.

I think cellking is trying to bait someone with this post. NO matter what level of talent you have no one will ever walk through a region. This group of players will be battle tested by the time districts get here. There schedule has been ramped up dramatically.

That's why they will walk through the Region. Playing the best schedule that has been played at Central in many years. Have the best player in the Region in Watts. 2 more of the top 6 or 7 players in Roark and Dixon add Williams, Wright,West, and Privett and that makes for a lot of Dept with Players that can play. Several of these players have started 3+ years. I look for the Raiders to have an exceptional year and anything short of playing in Rupp is a let down.

I don't know how West will fair now that they have a new coach. Their previous coach was a defensive genius, and that helped them get to where they got last year.

If McCreary makes it out of the district, they will be the favorite to win the region, in my eyes.
