This is tremendously unfortunate for both Smith and the Seneca program. I saw him against Manual last season and came away very impressed with his ability. He may have been the best QB I saw last season.

This saddens me.

That is really rough. I feel for the young man. All the best for a speedy recovery and a successful senior season.

This is very unfortunate... one day at a time and wish for a speedy recovery. It's amasing what the doctors can do now a days focus on your rehab and work hard to get back by your senior year.

If this news is correct, this will be devastating to Seneca's 2009 team. Despite having a weak defense, the Redhawks were expected to have an offense led by Smith which was capable of outscoring anyone on a given night. It will be very interesting to see who Coach Dover selects to replace him at QB. :ohbrother:

I think he would have been the best QB in Jefferson County this season. Best of luck to him. I hope he can attain a full recovery.
