Only teams i really know about in the 10th is Brossart and the Camels, Scott beating both teams at a very close game, i believe up and comming Srs. beat both teams Swanson agianst brossart with Hr's by Chris Brann and GS Arrin Bush.. and Campbell was leading the whole game until the 5th with the final 5-1 with also good pitching by young pitching, everyone i mentioned is comming back so i hope to believe the Eagles will go far, one game at a time!!

I honestly think Campbell Co. will be top 3 in the region next year. They return their entire outfield, SS, and 2 starting pitchers. This is what I see CC's lineup being next year. All players are seniors except 1, so there will be good leadership to go along with talent.

 

C- Nate Allen (sr.)- Split time last year at C with a senior.

1B- Travis Hurd (jr.)- Played behind Fuldner and Franzen last year and didn't bat much until the end of the season, but had 2 HR in less than 25 ABs. When he pitches, senior Justin Robertson will play 1B.

2B- Joe Ball (sr.)- played mostly OF last year with Joe Scharold at 2B.

3B- Austin Beal (sr.) Only player who didn't letter last year. Decent bat on JV.

SS- Brett White (sr.) Will be a 3 year starter for the Camels.

LF- Chris Steele (sr.) Called up from Jv at beginning of last season and started the rest of the season on varsity. Very good speed.

CF- Braden McCain (sr.) CC MVP last year, good power and average. CC's 5 hitter last year.

RF- Daniel Stein (sr.) Good arm from RF, puts the bat on the ball.

#3 and #4 in the rotation are kinda up for grabs. Will be between Austin Beal, Charlie Loudermilk (sr.), Danny Jenkins (jr.), and Ross Riffe (jr.).

 

Andy Franzen, soph. to be, will break into one of the four slots early and will be quite impacting come tournament time.

I agree,the battle will be for the fourth spot. Camels are loaded and will be for atleast the next two or three years. Alot of tough decisions for coach next year.

Campbell will be strong next year, they will have the best bats in the district and maybe the region. The pitching should be solid but nothing to brag about. The group of kids returning next year no nothing but district titles. The Camels have won three in a row, and will be hungry for another.

This senior camel class will be very hungry and very focused for this upcoming season. They are a very mature group of young men that had to deal with a horrible tradegy 3 years ago watching a good friend and great person in Justin Saccone die on a baseball field after being hit by a pitch. This unfortunate accident has affected many lives but has made this group of young men grow up a little quicker than most of this age should have to. They have been through quite a bit already in their short time and would not be satisfied with nothing less than a regional title and a chance to make it to Applebee's Park. Remember, this is just a game. So let's enjoy every second that these young men are able to go out on the field to compete.

Mason County has a good pitcher in Ryan Keller. I don't know much about the rest of the team though

I'd say it be between Jenkins and Laudermilk for the fourth spot with Biel taking the third. Riffe didn't impress me much.

Kyle Frimming may be our ace, he is probably Brossart's best overall pitcher, great location, speed, and offspeed. Chris Simon will also be a very good pitcher. They also have several other people that can step in and do a good job such as Justin Williams and Brad Seiter.

Agree with you there, Silver Grove has Pelle who is a good pitcher, and Brossart, Campbell, and Scott will be tough. Very tough region...

Totally agree that this district will be the toughest in the 10th next year!! Whoever comes out of there will definately have to earn it!!

Jimmy Uebel will certainly be in the starting rotation along with Mutsch, Frimming, Simon, Seiter, Williams, etc. They should have some pitching depth also as the JV's were forced to develop some kids this past year, after losing a couple of their top freshman pitchers from the previous year. Who knows, they might even have a couple of new ones show up??

For Brossart, I look for Uebel to emerge as the ace of the staff. Out of the rest of the pitchers, he has experiance, and is the most consistant. Nathan Mutsch has unbelievable talent that hasn't even been tapped yet, so the sky is the limit with him. Frimming is another talented pitcher who can start, but is also very effective coming in relief. Chris Simon will also make some noise on the varsity scene. As the Junior class grows into strictly varsity roles, the will have theirs strengeths in pitching. 9 seniors graduated, but IMO, they will suprise some people next year.
