Just as President Obama's overspending will handicap our healthcare industry, promote abortion, and blow up the deficit, President Bush's overspending outstretched our military, handicapped our education system, and blew up the deficit.

 

This is not a justification of President Obama's spending- but if any of you ticked off conservatives want to know why he is in office, it's because YOU elected and supported hypocritical Republicans, and the moderates are tired of it!

Yep... the party is over! Now all the enlighten Dems are waking up with a case of a growing hangover/Buyers remorse. What a train wreck only after a very few months. Change you can Believe in..., transparency, no earmarks, ect...already too many to completely list.

I agree. Both sides have a lot of blame to go around. The only thing that surprised me was people should have known Obama's ideas for "fixing" the mess he took over were to spend crazy amounts of money. That's where I get confused.

I agree that we most likely don't need to reinvent the wheel. And frankly, my personal thoughts on healthcare reform have more to do with overhauling the entire social aid program, and less about healthcare reform specifically. I personally believe the waste and overspending is in the administration of the welfare system as a whole, and not in any one specific program.

 

RM, I agree. Obama mentioned several times in his press conference about health care costs contributing to the federal deficit. From what I can tell, the majority of the federal deficit associated with health care costs comes from Medicare, Medicaid, and social warfare programs. If that is true then hasn’t the federal government already proven they cannot effectively/fiscally manage social health care programs? So then why would we want them to socialize the entire system?

I can't think of one republican I've elected in a long time. Nor can I think of one republican in office that is worth bragging on. I can't recall propping any of them up. I have no idea what your post means.

 

I would gladly vote for a homosexual, Russian, democrat/republican/independent/whatever woman/man/transsexual for president if I thought she/he was sincere in making government smaller, less intrusive and fiscally responsible while using the Constitution as a guide.

Are you saying hypocrisy is unacceptable in the republican party and not the democrat party? Are you saying lying is unacceptable in the republican party and not the democrat party? Are democrats exempt from "practicing what they preach"? Kind of a scary thought is'nt it.Let me clear this up.What I am saying is that when a country allows radical leftist to take control it always turns into a communist dictatorship.They promise the moon to their people,then turn on them.Out of fear the people start turning on each other by ratting out the patriots who dare to resist.This works well for the dictator.If you study political and military history you will see what I mean.I wrote these things to get folks to think about what a leftist has the potential to do.If they cared for us the would'nt be destroying our economy and trying to destroy the finest health care in the world.Many people are going to suffer and die because of this.
