July 14, 200917 yr I was certainly glad to see Fielder win it :thumb:. I was pulling for him and Mauer (who I figured had no chance, I just like the guy) Now comes the letdown of the all star break....the all star game itself :lol:. I'll probably watch untill Jeter is out of the game and then find something else. I still feel and always will that putting the home field advantge on the result of an all star game is a joke and if a player has to have incentive to play in an all star game then imo he shouldn't be there :irked:. Players used to consider it an honor and they would play to win regardless. ^ I know the above statement had nothing to do with the HR derby but I just had to have my say on the Bud Selig/all star fiasco.
July 14, 200917 yr My word Prince Fielder is fat. My 7 year old started calling him "Prince Fatty" last year and unfortunately that name has stuck at my house. :lol: Not very nice, but funny coming out of a kid's mouth about a professional athlete.
