Excellent!!!!! Thank you to everyone who voted. I know from talking to Coach Eckstein that many other teams from around Northern Kentucky got into the voting process to help the Tigers out.

Can't wait to see the renovations.:dancingpa

That is great! I love that even Bellevue's opponents helped with the voting process! Pretty cool...

What kind of renovations are they expecting?

Haven't heard yet. The story on KYPost did not elaborate. They do get $15,000.00 to work with though.

This is such great news! Congratulations Tigers!! :ylsuper:

Congratulations!!

How far will 15K go? What would be at the top of the to do list for Gilligan? I haven't been there in 15 years, and apparently it's in bad shape.

Wow that is good stuff hey 15,000 is 15,000 I sure wish we had that much here at Bell County we need a new press box.

Hey Northern Kentucky and Tigers fans, what would you like to see done with these funds at Gilligan Stadium????

IMO we need a turf field and new locker rooms.

The building with the concession stand and restrooms is horrible. Heard that the second floor (where I used to lift weights) is actually off-limits as it is in such bad shape.

It cost us 12,000 grand just to re-sod our field. Turf your looking at 400k.

15 grand isn't a lot of money but might be a good start for a weight room and some dugouts for the softball field.

I believe this is used only for football as that was the field nominated.

Yeah the money is only for the field. I heard they might be putting new locker rooms in.
