Kindred's expertise will be the knowledge of the game. He was born with a basketball in his hand and was around the game all the time. Having a coach on the floor is priceless!

I know you know the skills that Chase can bring to this team from your post. He is the missing link that GRC needs this year. That would free up Stenzel to do the things he does best and also get the big men more involved. Now we just have to get him healthy.....:ohbrother:

Most of Mason Co's team were at football camp that week and Clark Co started and played their Jr Varsity for 3 and a half quarters against Mason Co. I think Mason only had 2 varsity starters there that day , Gilbert and Setty. I've watched a lot of summer ball and coaches use it as a tool to see who has improved and to determine who will play next season. Clark has used 15 players in a lot of their varsity games this summer. Scores in summer ball have very little meaning.:thumb:

I think Coach H is also trying to see who will make varsity. Lots of kids going out and you can only dress so many on varsity. Some may be cut, others will be on JV.

Just got word that GRC will Scrimmage Holmes Nov..? at Simon Kenton.

 

GRC never looks good in early season scrimmages. Hope this year is different.

 

With the scrimmages and the schedule that GRC has this year, they will be battle tested against some of the best teams and players across the state, and be ready come post season.

Holmes will beat us bad. We never start out good. Also coach plays alot of players in scrimmages....another learning too for the season ahead.

Coach H and Coach Henley focus on developing players and finding the right combinations during the summer. As long as their kids are playing hard they're not worried about winning or losing in the preseason.

I know our coach feels that way, didn't know Holmes coach did.

With Zollo moving to KY to be closer to UK and now him decommiting from the Cats is there any chance he may move again to another school?
