With Zollo moving to KY to be closer to UK and now him decommiting from the Cats is there any chance he may move again to another school?

Vinny is a big time UK fan and loved the fact that he was going to play for the blue and white, so I know this had to be a very hard decision for him. Still, it is probably the best decision for the young man because he wasn’t built for the dribble drive offense. That is not a knock on Vinny, who is very fundamental and has a great basketball mind, it is just the truth. He would fit a lot better into a slow down system that allows him to get into offensive positioning near the basket.

Vinny is one of the nicest and most polite kids that I have ever had the opportunity to speak with and I wish him nothing but the best in the future. I hope that UK fans will also recognize this and root for Vinny wherever he ends up.

 

Update: Rivals’ Jerry Meyer spoke to Zollo himself, who said that he has officially informed the UK coaches of his decision. Zollo already holds an offer from Oklahoma State, has visited Notre Dame and is getting interest from Cincinnati. In other words, he has really hit the ground running this time around. Good for him.

I could not agree with you more Gold. Vinny is an outstanding young man and as much as it will hurt not to see him in the blue and white, this is the best possible decision he could make. Wherever he ends up, I will definitely be rooting for him. :thumb:

Zollo is a great kid who will wind up playing ball for a good division 1 team. I'm sorry it didn't work out for him and UK. But it will be fun to watch and support him were ever he goes. Nice to see that Travis Ford is onto him. Zollo is a hard worker and he will make it work somewhere.
