Doubtful. Why are you so down on the class of 2010? I personally think the c/o 2010 is one of the best to come through Kentucky in a while. There are already 6 juniors (senior to be) with D1 offers:

 

Elisha Justice- Shelby Valley

Ge'Lawn Guyn- Scott Co

Chad Jackson- Scott Co

Dakotah Euton- Scott Co

Donovan Gibbs- Iroquois

Ricardo Johnson- Holmes

 

I'm sure the following players will play at the D1 or D2 level as well:

 

Josh Sewell- Trinity

Jomari Bradshaw- Shawnee

Orlando Rutledge- Fern Creek

Elijah Pittman- Holmes

Jeremiah Johnson- Holmes

Matt St. John- South Laurel

Aaron Watts- Mccreary Central

Jarrod Polson- West Jessamine

Delquan Thomas- Eastern

Thomas Jackson- Jeffersontown

Tim Jackson- Jeffersontown

Ian Chiles- Ballard

Keisten Jones- Ballard

 

I could keep going on, but you should get the point...the c/o 2010 is absolutely loaded with talent.

I think Eastern KY but I'm not certain.

The 2010 class may be better than Ky 2009 (although it doesn't look like they have anyone like Hood), but the Indiana kids are so good according to the rankings, even more talented than what they had this year 2009. That is why I say the gap may be bigger next year even though our Kentucky team may be better with players 2 thur 7 than this year's Ky team.

I think you may be looking in to rankings a little too much. You have to realize that this year's team played without Jenkins and Phares and despite that still only lost by 15. I know that's not a small margin, but my point it when you have two of the top 5 seniors out it's going to make a difference.

 

I think next year's team will be better than the 2008 team that beat Indiana. The following starting lineup could compete at the D1 level next year as seniors.

 

6'4 Jackson

6'3 Guyn

6'5 R. Johnson

6'7 Pittman

6'7 Gibbs/6'8 Euton

 

They wouldn't compete against BCS and high major talent but they would be a solid mid major team with players like Justice, Sewell, Watts, St. John, Rutledge, Bradshaw, etc off the bench.
