June 3, 200917 yr Which is why we Card fans are so optimistic! There's nowhere to go but up! Unfortunately though, Kragthorpe looks like the problem rather than the solution. I would love my Canes to return to form but the early schedule may kill them. They will be improved even if the record doesn't show it.

June 4, 200917 yr I disagree 100% on Kragthorpe. I don't know how. Krags has had enough talent to do more than what he's done. He's taken 2 QB's in two years that had 1st round stock before the season began and let their stock fall drastically. Maybe Cantwell was overrated, but Brohm wasn't IMO. Petrino left a team with some players on it, but U of L has very little to show for it. They are no longer a top dog in the Big East. I don't see how it could really be any different.

June 4, 200917 yr I look for Virginia Tech to be a national championship contender. With 16 returning starters, and with Tyrod Taylor having a good amount of experience, I see VT going undefeated in the ACC. Ill be pretty happy if they hit a bump in the road on September 19th.
June 4, 200917 yr Still disagree 100%. Okay. That's your choice. @ FSU GT @VT Oklahoma :scared: I know. But in reality that is what fans of the U should want. When Miami is up and rolling this schedule wouldn't look as tough. We'll know about how good the Canes are by week 5. I'm hoping for 3-1, would settle for 2-2, at 1-3 or 0-4 I just don't know how much more college football I could watch....especially if the Gators keep winning.:puke:
