He very well could be, but to me this is speculation still. And neither Carter(in his case it hasn't been announced that he won't pursue his extra yea) or Williams has been announced yet. They have just been assumed to be gone for a long time.

While Tipton is generally a little on the negative side, he wouldn't report it if it wasn't about to happen. He is pretty good on his info, IMO.

Either way the departing players are in a group that won't see the court until garbage time, so not a big deal really.
