I agree, and I would be surprised to see Wall stay more than one year.

I figured it was only a matter of time. This is a great problem to have for UK especially at the PG position! Wall will only be there for one year. Bledsoe should look at it that he will have a chance to practice every day against the best in the nation which should help prepare him for the NBA better. Cup is half full if that is how you choose to look at it.

Cal's backup PG hasn't played much at all behind Rose and Evans...

I just hope it all works out, for Bledsoe and UK.

Coach could have good reason, but that is just a bad possibility for Eric and a good situation to be in for Calipari and Kentucky. If Jodie doesn't come back though I would almost expect Bledsoe to start along side Wall and if not him Hood, with Bledsoe still seeing lots of minutes.

But say Meeks does come back, still yet that doesn't quite put Bledsoe out of the fold. He will still be at worst the 8th man on the team, thus third off the bench, no matter what team you are on that promotes playing time. Besides, if his coach was that concerned about it, why not push Eric to wait until Wall decided or go to a school not in the mix for Wall. Fact of the matter is Eric really wants to play for Calipari and at Kentucky and now he will have that chance, and unlike Willie Kemp IMO, Bledsoe will get at least a fair shot at some pt.

I think alot has to do with Jodie and what he does. I don't think Cal has had a player of Bledsoe's calibur as a backup. I think Cal will get him minutes. I'm sure Cal spoke to him about that during his recruitment, he had to know that Wall coming was a very good possibility.

Bledsoe is not a combo guard, and neither is Wall. With that said Wall is getting 30+ minutes a game from day 1. Add Meeks and his 30+ minutes. Any way you slice it, there isn't a lot of time available for Bledsoe...

Seriously, they had to know going in if Wall committed, PT would be scarce in year 1.

Ford did know, and was wanting him to go elsewhere. Bledsoe wanted to play for Cal. This is an old story just being rehashed...
