South Laurel, had a good Middle School team. Winning the 8th grade 13 Regional Tournament and coming 8th grade State Runner up at the KBA.

 

Looks like their some nice young players coming up in the 13 region in 2009/2010. Will any have a impact on their teams.

South's middle school teams are always top notch. IMHO, the 7th grade coach, Norm Bowling, is one of the best if not the best middle school coach in the state. They will continue to feed the high school solid players year in and year out. They have another solid kid who will be in 8th grade this fall (I believe) named Blake Sanders who will see some varsity time this coming season. Good athlete and a solid ball player.

He is a real player, no doubt. He was a good football player as well, I am not sure if he is just focusing on basketball now, but he is solid.

I am pretty sure that Sanders will be a freshman this upcoming year. I watched him this weekend in Bloomington. Kid can flat shoot and is a very good floor general. He hit 16 threes in 4 games :ylsuper:

Ummm, at least Corbin won games in the region, which prepared them for what was ahead once they were able to reach the region finals. Clay hasn't won a region tournament game since Spurlock has taken over. Once again, you've not made a good argument, my friend.
