June 6, 200917 yr Author Gua, its been way too long. Now that is some classic BGP's right there.
June 6, 200917 yr This album slams a lot of people. Which IMO is funny the way he puts these people in his lyrics. Like many of you have said, Insane is a little out there for me. But "My Mom", "Old Time's Sake", and "Underground" are my personal favorites. All together a good album!!!!!
June 6, 200917 yr I could have bought it on vinyl today...Passed it up for Mostodon/Crack the Skye...And RL Burnside/Come on in...I'm not ready for A M&M record just yet...Maybe next time...
June 7, 200917 yr This is the Eminem that I love. He really dont care what he says and he really is a lyrical genius. I actually bought the CD instead of downloading the songs. My 2 favorite songs on the CD are Underground and Stay Wide Awake. I also love the intro to Insane.
June 8, 200917 yr Personally, I liked this album better when it came out in 99 and it was named the slim shady LP. For that matter, it was better when it was called Marshal Mathers LP in 01. Eminem should have stayed retired. How many times can you come out with a CD that sounds exactly the same as your previous crap (and that's what it is). I guess I should just ask Nickelback and Creed. You could add AC/DC to this list. I absolutely love AC/DC but most of their songs sound alike. Not that this is a bad thing.
June 8, 200917 yr I disagree that Em only had 1 good album. The Slim Shady LP The Marshal Mathers LP The Eminem Show Those were his three best with the MM LP being the very best of his work. They all sound exactly alike. MM LP should have been called, "Regurgetated Crap" and TES should have been called, "Much of the same."
June 8, 200917 yr Author They all sound exactly alike. MM LP should have been called, "Regurgetated Crap" and TES should have been called, "Much of the same." I can't find that many similarities between the first album and the second. Or the third for that matter. It's similar, because he is the same person, but they're not exactly the same. The MMLP was a great album IMO. "The Way I Am" is a very good song IMO. I hate rap now, but those 3 albums are still ones I can listen to.
