May 22, 200917 yr Author Even though I'll prolly be up that way next week, and official BGP outing would be fun. I've never made it to one in NKY. Me neither.

May 22, 200917 yr Blasphemy! :scared: Their glasses are to big and they are always warm so the beer gets warm faster.
May 22, 200917 yr Their glasses are to big and they are always warm so the beer gets warm faster. I hate that, if the place doesn't have enough glasses to keep them frosted when served they need to buy more. It isn't just there, lots of places are guilty of it. I realize this is a German style beer garden but, honestly I think most of us were raised on cold beer--no matter where its from. The glasses should be too.
May 22, 200917 yr Author Their glasses are to big and they are always warm so the beer gets warm faster. That just means you're drinking too slow.....:ylsuper:

That solves all those problems.
May 22, 200917 yr Partly true but they are really warm sometimes. Yeah, when you put a nipple on it and nurse it the beer's gonna get warm. Drink faster, ya lightweight.

They even drink soft drinks warm. They never use ice either.

May 22, 200917 yr In Germany, they don't drink anything cold. They even drink soft drinks warm. They never use ice either. I realize that, hence my "I realize this is a German style beer garden" quote. They've also been the catalysts behind 2 World Wars--I'm not sure we should follow their examples. However, since I, and most of us weren't raised in Germany--we drink our beer cold. It isn't asking much to have the establishments have enough cold glasses. And for JS, anyone that has drank beer with me knows that I don't let it linger......:thumb:
