Still like the St. Henry/Newport winner vs NCC but hey we all know January 18th is a long time away.

I like Coach Menefee but I am not sure where his patented tough D comes from. He has to coach a team first! And regardless he has his work cut out for him!

As usual it will be NCC and then the others.......with the others being led by St. Henry, Newport......Dayton (except for the bad draw)

Not sure if I'm reading this right, but the winner of the Bellevue/Ludlow game is alreday in the semis?

Dayton has a tough draw but is hosting so that should help them on their home court. Holy Cross and NCC in the second round could be interesting. I think NCC has the best shot of coming out of the All "A" again this year. But it is only May so it is tough to tell.

No, but the winner of that game is.

St. Henry/Newport is the big matchup early whoever wins I see facing NCC in the finals. What do both St.Henry and Newport have coming back this year?

Newport will bring back a variety of starters; Brandon Tucker, Casey McDaniels, Cody Collins, and Jamon Green. They also will be binging back two players they used often off their bench; Travis Jones and Brandon Sizemore.

Seems Newport brings back a good core of players what about the rest the 9th region Class A teams, thanks for the info TR23

I believe Newport and Dayton bring back the most experience. NCC should be fine with Pangallo and Geisler. Calvary and Beechwood are rebuilding. Bellevue will play hard. Villa has Bryan and Shue?... Not sure about Holy Cross. Ludlow returns a couple kids (Can't remember big kids name who shoot 3 ball) St. Henry will be disciplined of course- Don't know about Holy Cross. Am I forgetting anybody?

Lloyd lost 6 or 7 seniors but return Donnie Cheatum who should be a presence in the middle, but the rest of the team will young, if nothing changes all Juniors and Sophmores next year. They will need to mature fast!

Glad to see Dayton hosting the boys. Nice venue. Nice people.

Does not look like St. Henry will have alot of Seniors like last years team did. They will be well coached as usual though. I think they return Bessler, Anderson and Hils, but I think that is it for players with varisty time.

St. Henry has a good junior guard named Zach Barnett. He didnt get a lot of varsity last year, just some minutes when they were up or down big in certain games. But, this kid can really fill it up from the 3 point line. He is also very quick and is improving on driving to the basket and playing defense. I think he could make some difference for St. Henry next year if he continues to improve and gets the minutes.

I have seen Barnett play very quick but will St. Henry have any size coming back to compete with Newport and NCC this year? Anderson and Bessler are maybe I say 6'1 but very atheltic and hit the boards hard but will there be anyone else coming up to help on the inside. I agree Barnett should see alot of playing time.

No, but the winner of that game is.

Um, isn't that what I said?
