Are there students considering Home Schooling?

 

It's really popular these days, and a lot cheaper than tuition!!

EG I do not disagree at all.....just stating that is an issue with the Mustangs at this point!

That frosh coach who wound up winning a ton of games - wasn't he let go at Brossart? Apparently if the administration took away his coaching position, they must have had a good reason. Could be that the coach in question just had good talent and had little to do with good coaching. Where is that coach now? I am assuming he went on to bigger and better coaching positions since he was so successful. Can't believe Brossart would let him go if he was so successful. But from what we've seen with the girls program, apparently there are some poor decisions made.

 

Just to claify your statement, he was the frosh coach at another school and than became the varsity coach at Brossart? Is this coach still involved in coaching or has he been out of coaching for a while??

From the comments on here, it seems that BB has had an issue since it was decided to let Ray Kues go. BAD DECISION that was.

I'm so glad someone else said it first. It's hard to believe that St. Henry, Bishop Brossart, and Silver Grove all made mistakes by asking or letting him leave.

Most schools put on the KHSAA web-site any coaching openings. If you look, you will see the Silver Grove did not post a coaching opening.\:confused:

 

Tells me the same as the past, inside deal with people that they feel will do a better job and close to the program. Look at the past after Coach K left St. Henry, Brossart win/loss record??? The Grove yet to be determined.

 

You don't win 400 plus games and not be a good coach!!

Sometimes it takes more than just wins to be considered a good High School Coach. I can't imagine that any of these three schools were unhappy with the winning percentage under coack K.

So if a coach has 300 losses then he is unsuccesfull?

When and where was it announced that Ray Kues will not be coaching at the Grove? If that is the case, I would guess Bev Smith (Derek's sister) would be in line since she is teaching there now.

Bev Smith spent last year at Silver Grove after leaving Bellevue.

It was announced a while ago. Ray Kues in my opinion is a great X and O coach who tends to fall out of favor for whatever reason with administration, players, and parents. Yes the Grove had a very weak schedule last year but they should have had a weak schedule considering the size of the school and it being a new program being re started.

So what does Brossart need to do to be succesfull this year?
