It was a pretty sweet deal - I sent it in to the fish and wildlife people. The sent me a certificate and a plaque. The Shakespeare company sent me a brand new rod n reel and a cap. The Berkley company sent me a hat and some free fishing line. Worked out pretty good...
April 17, 200917 yr I would say that Dale Hollow (some of the lake is in Ky.), Cumberland and Ky. lake would be three very good choices. With Dale Hollow's limits there is a very good posibility of getting a big smallmouth........Dale Hollow smallmouth length and creel limits are (2) fish per day, (a slot length limit of 16"-21"), one fish under 16" and one fish over 21" may be taken. Dale has long been known for big Smallies and this slot/creel limit only increases the numbers. JMO

Billy Westmoreland's pond.:thumb: :thumb: One of the best weekend fishing "seminars" that I ever spent was years ago at the Greenup "Anglers Paradise". I was working there and Billy came in for a weekend. Westmoreland's two books "Them Ol' Brown Fish" and "Westmoreland on Largemouth's" were great books. I don't know if they are still in print or not but if so hey are well worth reading. Talking to Billy Wwestmoreland for two or three days was like talking to a fishing encyclopedia, only better. Billy W. had some great/funny stories as well. I can still hear Westmoreland, Fred Martin, Rip Cales and Bob Hieneman going at it, there was no stand up comedy act that could have been any better.

April 20, 200917 yr Author I think Elkhorn Creek is awesome for some smallies. :thumb: I was mostly wondering about Lakes, But Rivers and Large creeks are okay also. As long as I can get my boat in and out easily!!:thumb:
