Rick Bolus New KY HS rankings

One question I have is Orlando Rutledge from Fern Creek. Seeing them play twice the past summer he was their shooting guard and was not 6'6'' but about 6'0''. Anyone know about this kid?

Rutledge is around 6'5" or 6"6" he is long and rangy. He will be a player to keep an eye out for. He can shoot pretty good and is very atheltic. Potential Division 1 player.

Watts needs to be there. This is a real good bunch. Maybe not the 5 star kids but there are a lot of kids who can play.

I agree, would have Aaron Watts in the top 1/2 of that list, good looking athlete and the best shooter on that list.

I have seen about half of those boys on that list play and Aaron Watts definitely deserves a spot in the top 10 and I would take Jarrod Polson over a couple of those guys mentioned as well.

I definately agree with this statement. Polson is deceptively athletic. He will lull you to sleep, then blow by and finish at the rim. In my opinion his ball skills are better than any of the guards on the Bolus list. He is an absolute majician with the basketball. He single handidly had the quickness of Louisville Central on their heals the entire game in the sweet 16 semis.

While not completely accurate I would, as he never is, you are going to see a lot of very good even D-1 players not in the top 12. The junior class is pretty loaded and the deepest in Ky in a long time IMO. Which is definitly a good thing. Polson and Watts are great high school players and will be very good in college IMO if they choose.

I was at the Grassroots shootout and while I have always been a Cahd Jackson fan, Josh Sewell was much better this weekend, I think they should trade spots. I also think Tim Henderson from CAL and Orlando Rutledge from Fern Creek should be in the top 12.

Very impressive list! Could be some changes, but you can argue for those included to stay on the list!

Chad Jackson had a bad ankle this weekend.

I think Justice should be in the top 10 and Polson from West Jess. should also be on this list. He may not be a D-1 type player, but he is one of the best high school players in the state.

Zollo and Euton do not belong on this list.

This is more of a recruiting deal and is talking about who is the best prospects, not necessarily the best players at the present time. Based on that I believe both with be D-1 players thus warranting some strong consideration as being top 12 players.

That may be what it is talking about, but I don't think they belong on the list. I think Zollo is a borderline low D-1 player and Euton isn't good enough to play D-1. There is a reason he de-committed from UK... he was out of his league to begin with.

He will have a nice career at a NAIA or D-2 school, but won't see much PT at all if he gets the chance to go D-1.

Zollo borderline low D-1..... He is just a Sophomore and played this past season coming off a broken leg. You were defending Trevor Setty in another thread being able to play at Oak. State as a walk on with Travis Ford, saying he needs to hit the weight room and get stronger.

Do you not think that Zollo is going to get stronger and better in the next two years of high school?

You think Trevor can play at Oak. State and Zollo is borderline D-I....have to disagree with you there.

Very good post. I am not going to get on here and be critical of Trevor Setty. Hes a nice player. But to 1 kid can get bigger and stronger and can play who is already a year removed from high school and that a sophomore in high school can't doesn't make sense. Zollo is easily a D-1 player IMO. He has the size and frame and from what I have seen he works hard. I believe Euton will play D-1 somewhere. I heard several D-1 schools have been showing interest in him. How high up, I don't know.
