He went to St. Anthony's but he most certainly at least spent some time growing up in Edgewood.

 

Also this thread was about the 78 team losing. Beal was obviuolsy either very good or great, but he didn't start on the 78 team.

 

I truly don't know about Doug living in Edgewood, just know that he went to St. Anthony's and lived in Taylor Mill at least some of his childhood.

 

I did find out that Dave Derkson started on the 78' team in the beginning of the season, but Beal took over somewhere near the middle part of the season.
