Highly unlikely at this point. There aren't many schools with an open date either of thoses weeks from what I understand and there are none that are: close in proximity, as strong of a program as Ryle and/or willing to play us. Plus, it would only be fair to Ryle if they could also find a suitable opponent to replace us. So I'd say its very likely we'll play Ryle twice this year.

 

Personally I don't think it's that big of a deal that we are playing Ryle twice anyways. Ryle should have a nice team this year and should provide us with some very good competition. I'd rather be playing them twice than be playing some weaker program in one of the two weeks just for the sake of not playing a team twice. But I'm sure others will disagree and it's a free country (well sort of anyways, but less and less so it seems ), so to each their own.

I have been a loyal Colonel fan for 40+ years and can't get a sniff from the Park Hills Mafia. I'm going to hire a consigliere and formally complain about the snub. It's time to go to the matresses. Much as I would like to agree with LN's scouting report of the Colonels, I don't see them staying within 3 touchdowns of the Birds. The St. X game in Ft. Thomas should be a barn burner.
