Russell's ponies are still growing whereas Elliott's horses are ready for Churchhill Downs...this one won't be very close, I'm afraid...Congrats to Russell on shocking us all and getting to Morehead...that will do nothing but help, no matter who they are playing..

Should be a great game. :taz::ylsuper:

A nice situation for the Russell coaching staff with a very young team. Russell has the chance to play against a state contender in a game that has do or die consequences.

A no lose situation for a young team. Lets see how we stack up or how far we have to go. And if you find yourself in position late in the game.....

Im not sure that most realize, how big the win against GC actually was.

I am sure that it was a big win for the program, but you also have to realize that Elliott County is not Greenup County

I agree totally. But it is a positive to play them in this situation considering you are getting your team back next year. It's a great situation for the coaching staff of Russell, just not a great situation to move on.

I am coming to the game(s) this evening. I was wondering how they are handling the ticket situation. Are they clearing the gym after the first two games or at all? I would think it will be cleared after the first two games based on the game times, but you never know.

There are two different sessions, they will clear the gym after the Bath/West Carter game and you will have to buy another ticket for the two night games.

I sure hope the 9th region refs don't let our boys get hurt too.
