Does it really matter where people sit? The arena holds 9500 people...if it's that big of a deal, I'm sure there will be plenty of room to move....

Papa will in all likelihood only be there for Mason County's game; might possibly catch some of Harrison-Montgomery.

I really don't think that's been an issue. There has been plenty of extra space the first couple of days. I haven't seen ushers telling people where they have to go.

In the future they would be better off not selling reserved seats.

It sounds like your more upset with the drive than anything else. So you don't think Campbell, Scott and Bishop Brossart have a right to have the games close to them once every four years? BTW if you had gone to BOKC or waited until the day of the game, then you could have purchased the tickets for $8.00 without paying the fee.

 

Not sure but there might be a rule like in Cincinnati about festival seating, due to a concert years ago in Cincinnati where a lot of people got hurt

trying to get into the US Bank Arena for a Who concert.

Many cities over-reacted to the Who concert tragedy by passing such laws, but they were generally only for facilities in the 12,000+ capacity neighborhood. There's never been any place that large in NoKy until now. And as time went on, many of those municipalities have thrown out those laws, recognizing the problem wasn't gen-admin seating itself, but stupidity by Riverfront Coliseum staffers for only opening one freakin' door.

We are not in Cincy and this isn't a rock concert. The open seating at the Bluegrass-Buckeye worked just fine.

Right, it sounds like the BOKC organizers were operating under the assumption that there is a law in Ky prohibiting festival seating. Or, they had some wild idea in their heads that the place would be sold out and SRO.
