Going to the retroactive resolution?

Well, I'm not the best Catholic in the world, so I figured it important to have a back-up plan. If I can't stick to the fast food thing, then I might have to resort to my original "original" resolution. :D

I'd say I'm doomed.

I have slipped up a time or two, but instantly catch myself afterwards, that's a step. I actually hope this changes my "verbiage" in the near future.

I volunteered my kids (without their prior knowldege) to serve at Stations of the Cross, does that count for something? :p

As for myself, instead of giving up my usual Diet Coke, I decided that I am aiming to speak no ill of others throughout Lent, and to go out of my way to do something nice for someone every day.

I think Diet Coke will probably seem like a piece of cake...

Pizza. It's a horribly unhealthy staple of my diet for the last 6 months so this is the perfect opportunity to cut it out. I guess I'm gonna have to settle for Chinese food on those late weekend nights now.

No Milano's runs?

You say that, but it isn't. I may actually use the Sunday loophole this year. I'm trying not to.

I used it last year when I gave up soft drinks and it was rough because every Monday I went through caffeine withdrawals.

I don't do the Sunday loophole thing. That's like quitting Diet Coke all over again every week. If I get through the first week without committing murder and mayhem, it's easy from there.
