I agree Dale and as I said it's just darned hard to keep them boys on the bench. They want to get out there and play it's harder for them to sit and watch than it is anything.

I'll take the "W" whether its by 4 or 40. Give the starters a rest . . . they've deserved it after this last week! Give Jarrod Flannery, Jonathan Morgan, Jacob Ison, Craig Faulkner, and some of the other boys some MAJOR MINUTES!

 

:thumb: I would agree. I am not an Elliot fan but I can say that anytime a team can get the younger players/reserves valuble minutes in a varsity game then it will do nothing but help. One never knows when they may hve to be called on to come in and give valuble playing time. Any player in any game is only one play away from being out for the season. I hate injuries but they can, have and will happen. I sincerely hope that all kids remain injury free.

I just want to caution all the great fans from Elliott Co. about the roads on the way to Russell...........they have this stuff on them ......blacktop , be careful. We don't have very many mountain men or real bad curves where your headlights touch your tail lights, you may see a deer or two.........both kinds,

(two and four legged)and we don't do any discriminating(we take both pretty and ugly fans). So just show up and plan on having a good time, that's what we do here!:thumb::notworthy:

Still a mismatch, I'm going to put the three from Elliott on donkey's, now that evens things up :isurrender:

I doubt you'll see too many Russell supporters crying foul if Elliott plays their starters the whole game. They have a week off and the work won't hurt them. Only thing that would be a worry for me if I were the coach is a silly injury in a game that didn't matter. With that said, congratulations to the seniors on both squads. Takes alot of dedication and hard work regardless of your success on the court. To the Russell seniors, good luck in all of your endeavors hereafter, to the Elliott seniors, good luck as well in your quest to finish this season with the ultimate prize in Ky high school basketball.:thumb:

If Mays is smart, he'll let his starters build a 20-30 point lead and then clear the bench mid third quarter to get the bench players a little more work before post season starts. With that being said:
