It was rough on both ends. Not just Fleming. Elliott County just was rough at the times it wasn't obvious. Unlike Fleming. But i give Fleming credit they didn't lay down they kept fighting.(and by fighting i mean to win not actual fist thrown as some of you might take it ) Goodluck to both teams the rest of the season. Oh and Ferg's T was the right call because if anyone else would have done that they would got T'd up just like him. You can have emotion but i think i saw smoke come out of his ears when he did that.

Another losing season for Fleming County. I honestly cant understand why the adnimistration puts up with losing year after year. Fleming has alot of talent and players underachieving just wont cut it. This all falls into the head coaches lap. Its time for a change. Im not saying they would beat Elliott with a different coach cause Elliott is really good. This is 3 years in a row Fleming has had a losing record with this guy. When he was hired,evryone talked about his credentials and what a great coach he is.

What is the coaching story with FC I know they have some really good middle schoolers coming up.

 

Yeah they have some middle schoolers coming up that will be going to other high schools from what ive been told.

I think they have some really good players right now.

 

Yes Fleming does have talent right now that needs more development. Thats something that isnt happening now.

Fleming played a very rough, physical game. During the 1st half, there was an intensional (IMO) foul where one of the Elliott boys was slung around and the officials and players had to step between the two players involved. No technical was called!! But in the 2nd half, Ferg made a really good basket and showed some emotion and the "T" IMMEDIATELY was called against him. IMO, that was a horrible call on both of these. The first was intensional (the slinging occurred after the whistle and the ball was dead) but nothing was called. The second, was a kid expressing some emotion. These boys are emotionally vested in each and every game, but they are expected to maintain a flat affect throughout their race.

 

With all that said . . . good win Elliott!!!

 

Senior night was a sad!!:cry: There were so many of us on the floor that we had to make 2 lines! Graduation will be like a county wide funeral.
