Their announcers were not happy they kept saying this is not the team who started the year 8-2.
Their not the same team they were at 8-2, when you lose your best D-player and hardest working player it hurts. Losing Bowling hurt them.:idunno:

Good win for the Vikings.

Coach Thacker seems to be closing the gap on some teams... Might be a tough out for anyone come tourney time

Good win for Rowan. The Vikings have been inconsistent as a team this year, and at times they have looked really bad. But things seem to be coming together somewhat as district tournament time approaches. They split with Menifee (both games were close), and they lost to Bath by 2 in their first meeting. Rowan plays Bath this Friday night in Morehead. This game should be a good test for how far the Vikings have come.

I agree. The loss of Bowling was bigger than Ashland would ever admit. They also miss Adams and a few more.

I don't think Ashland lost him, I think he quit.

Ok dont trust me ,but here have some popcorn anyway.

If Trublue is out there I would like to hear his take on this game.

Sorry ZB23 I didn't attend this game so have no first hand input. I did hear from someone who did attend that subs who rarely play were put in too early and that halted the momentum, but like I said, I didn't see this for myself.

I hate this for Ashland. Those kids work way too hard to be in this position.

Tell me Trublue why Biggs subs so much. I've never seen a coach sub so much. As soon as a player seems to be having a good game out they go. Whats your input on that?

 Now that I will take you up on!

Who would have thought 5 years ago that the Menifee, Bath, Rowan, Fleming district would be so much stronger than the Ashland, Boyd, Rose Hill, Fairview district? Times they are a changing. :ohbrother:
