Thoughts?

Holy Cross coming off a tough loss to Boone Co on Saturday.

Highlands losing to Holmes on Friday.

Highlands physical defense will make it very tough for the Indians. I think Giwa struggles against Grote in this one. With Holy Cross slowing the ball down, I see it being a low scoring game with the Birds winning.

Highlands 59-50.

Grote is going to have to step up big in this one. Highlands won't get their easy baskets in transition and I don't see Kowolonek having a big game against the Indians. Grote is the one player who can really take over for Highlands against this HC defense. If Highlands can get a guy or two going from the outside it will be a long night for the Indians. Otherwise....

Grote and Grubbs lead the Birds.

I think it will be close for the first half of basketball, then Highlands will pull away and win 43-36.
