Why did Arkansas only sign one player?

Good class for UK but unfortunately seems like everyone in the SEC except Vandy had great classes this year. Everyone in the SEC West had a top 25 class too, I found that interesting.

Such is life in the SEC :thumb:

For UK standards, this was a really good class.

The only thing that scares me little, is that JUCO's don't always pan out. We'll see though.

Neither do recruits straight out of high school, no matter how many stars they garner.

I was glad to see that U.K. got a good class signed. Recent sucsess is now starting to pay off. U.K. can now claim and show Bowl Games and results to recruits rather than the in the past.... "be a part of bulding a program". :thumb:

:thumb: I agree, as WVU coach Bill Stewart says....... "when it gets right down to it, you don't know if any of them will really be worth a hoot for two or three years". (lol)

I still find it hard to believe that he said that but I heard him say it on the news. I agree with it for the most part but was just seems to me that is not something that a future recruit would want to hear a coach say.

Chris Matthews is the 2nd rated JUCO WR and the 9th best JUCO player according to Rivals.com.

Overall a pretty good recruiting class for UK, getting a 4 star QB, WR, and the DE Evans is supposed to be their best prospect according to Rivals. They also got the 10th best center in the country in Simpson of Henry Clay.

And a squad of good LB's and TE's. I was really excited about the TE's UK signed. We missed Tamme last year, bad. And you can never have too many good LB's. Huzzie, Mosby and Wilson give reason for success in the SEC. They have the instincts and speed.
