Last year their SOS was 19. This years schedule is the weakest I can ever remember for a UK bball team. They need 20+ wins to make the tourney.

 

UK's schedule a year ago was tougher because IU was yet to collapse. They still played Cent. Arkansas, Stony Brook, Gardner-Webb, Texas Southern, and some other weaker teams. This year they have played a pretty weak schedule, but I still believe 18 or 19 wins gets this team into the tourney.

UK's current SOS is 92. There isn't much left on the schedule that will drastically improve that number.

SOS won't keep them out, but 18-19 wins will NOT get them in.

 

They're 16-7 right now, that would mean 2-7 or 3-6 the rest of the way. Losing 9 of your last 12 doesn't get you an invite.

I think they will get in just because they are UK but they don't deserve it. They are not a very good team.

They will get in and I think will make a run (not win) the SEC. While they are not a Final 4 team they are also better than the last 3 games have shown. Keep in mind UNC blip in play at the beginning of their conference schedule. Now they are hitting on all cylindars. UK on all cylindars may not be a great team but much better than they have shown.
