This is a big district game in the 35th and I suspect both teams will come out ready to play. How do you guys see it playing out?

I see HC winning by 4 in a close, grind it out game.

I see Beechwood's size and athleticism being too much for the Indians. Smith will control the paint and honestly I don't see anyone from HC keeping Beuttel or Romes from getting their numbers. Should be a great game though. I'd recommend getting there early for this one. I know I'll be in attendance covering the game that night.

This is the one we've been waiting for ER :thumb:. Anyways Size hasn't really been much of a factor so far this year against HC and athleticism hasn't really killed them. Also, I think Giwa will be able to handle Beuttel just fine and Romes will be a team effort, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes it is. IMO this game will indeed decide who gets the #2 and who gets the #3. Covcath is just really struggling right now. Giwa-Beuttel should be a great match up. I agree that Romes will have to be a team effort.

Make sure to find me at this game. I'd really like to sit with you and watch it. :thumb:

I'll get in touch with you when the game gets closer.

HC by 2 in a hard fought game by both teams. I think it will be pretty low scoring also.

So if Beechwood wins and CCH beats HC, then the 35th is: 1) Holmes 2) Beechwood 3) CovCath and 4) HC, right?

And if HC wins and HC beats CCH, then it is: 1) Holmes 2) HC 3) Beechwood 4) CovCath

But if HC wins and CCH beats HC, then it comes to a tiebreaker? How is that determined?

Is that all correct?

Pretty sure that's all correct.

Only way to get a tiebreaker is if CCH beats HC and HC beats Beechwood.

In that case- Go Tigers!

I take it you're hoping Beechwood wins so CCH still controls their destiny to avoid Holmes in round one of districts?

That is all correct. If the 35th would be a three way tie, if I'm not mistaken, goes to a blind draw. I think this is correct, because it happened a few years ago in the 35th in baseball. It could be point difference or head-to-head matchup though.

Pretty sure the 35th would use the blind draw to determine seed of those 3 teams. IMO the CCH-HC game might be much more important though because CCH as it stands is the only district team without a win.

Hope it doesn't go to a three way tie. No one wants to draw Holmes first round!!!

As of today, HC does not have a district win either.

Well as it stands then, Beechwood has assured themselves of no worse than a 2 or 3 seed unless it comes down to the blind draw...so looks like it will be either CCH or HC drawing Holmes in the first round.

 Ya think?
