February 1, 200917 yr I just saw on CNN that some guardsmen found an elderly couple that had toxic levels of carbon monoxide. If not for those guys, this couple would have probably died. I believe that they were in Meade County.

February 5, 200917 yr Well I just got word from FF that they were put on Federal orders today and that means it could be a month or 2 before he comes home. I am very upset about this. I hate that he has to be away from us so long again. He said really they have done all they can do, they have visited everyone who is staying there, fed all that need to be feed and they are just waiting on power....which they can't make come on. I will keep you posted on what all is going on there.
February 6, 200917 yr An update ... there are still some of the smaller and more isolated counties (Carlisle, Hickman, Fulton, Crittenden, Lyon, Livingston) where the vast majority of people don't have power. For some, it could still be a week or two before power is restored to their homes.
February 7, 200917 yr Just wanted to let you now that FF is on his way home now. He will be back at his armory today but will actually have to stay there for 5 more days for the out processing. He stayed quite busy the last week.
February 8, 200917 yr Mayfield is about 90% back on! Graves County still has about 5K without power! Thanks to the crews and also the BGP family for their thoughts! Tell FFan, thanks a ton!!!
