Holmes travels to Union to take on the Raiders Monday night.

Holmes comes in 17-1 after knocking off Largo, 69-62.

Ryle comes in 12-5 and off a 13 point win over Shelby County.

Thoughts?

If I was a betting man, I would put money on Holmes running the table the rest of the regular season well before I put money on them dropping a game. This team in tough, they are battle tested to an extent with wins over Scott Co, Bryan Station, Ballard, Largo, and handling a solid Franklin Co. team with ease. It is hard for me seeing Ryle or anyone else from N.Ky beating then this season.

With that being said I will say I am taking Holmes by 20.

Hopefully some highlights as well, because I will be in attendence.

Nichols has been starting consistently lately, with either Stauffer or Russell starting the game on the bench.

Ryle is going to have a very hard time with Holmes' quickness and speed.

I think Ryle is really going to struggle with Holmes athleticism and size. I see Rico and Pittman both having big games as Ryle really has nobody quick enough to guard either.

Holmes 63

Ryle 44

As well as their length and athleticism. They are one of the most athletic-if not the most athletic-team in the state. I think they match up more than favorably against Ryle

Thanks...I originally had Nichols in there instead of Russell, but knew that Russell was starting at the beginning of the season, so I wasn't sure if Nichols had moved in to the starting line up or not.

It'd make more sense though to start Nichols against Holmes. He's really the only big down low that is strong enough to defend Pittman.

Holmes should handle Ryle pretty easily. I see the Dawgs running the table easily the rest of the season :thumb: Bulldogs by 10+ not on their home court.
