Holmes by 28!

The athleticism and quickness of Holmes, not size, will cause probs for Ryle. Ryle is just as big as Holmes but they don't match up well with the quickness of Holmes. The Raiders would need to be very hot from the field to hang around. Ryle plays hard-nosed D and will not back down, however. If the refs don't let banging go on, it will be a long night in Union for the home team. If the Dogs are intense for 32 minutes, it will be a 20-point game. If the Dogs play lackadaisical, their talent will still allow them to win but closer than expected, kind of like the Conner game. IMO, Boone is the 9th region team with the best chance to knock off the Dogs.

Holmes should handle Ryle pretty easily. I see the Dawgs running the table easily the rest of the season :thumb: Bulldogs by 10+ not on their home court.

 that is very humble coming from you  I was expecting 30+ coming from you. I like the modest approach though.

I'm always afraid of that squirrel finding his nut. :D NOT!!!!

Holmes should take care of business in Union on Monday.

Holmes- 58

Ryle- 37

I'll take Holmes 52-38.

Low scoring game in which Ryle will try to be physical with Holmes.

I see Holmes getting knocked off by someone before the tournament, IMO. I think they will lose focus somewhere along the line and get tripped up. It happened last year.

Feb 6, 09 Highlands home 7:30 PM

Feb 7, 09 Hazard home 7:30 PM

Feb 10, 09 Boone County away 7:30 PM

I think if it happens this is the stretch where you could see it. Three solid opponets in 5 days. Hazard the day after Highlands is a scary game to me.

I agree. IF it happens it will be during that stretch.

I personally don't see Hazard staying within 10 of Holmes though.

This Holmes team is smoking hot and on a mission and that is making it back to RUPP!

They will complete down the stretch and win.
