Good job, Elliott but Class "A" shouldn't be there goal it should be to win at RUPP ARENA. This team should at least make it to the second round at state.

 

Over 100 schools compete in this tournament and they shouldn't have as a goal to win this tournament?? Come on now!! They are representing the small schools in their region of the state at this event. You make it sound like they should just eliminate the tournament and that it has no importance whatsoever. That is a slap to all the little small schools and communities around the state. And here we go again with the comment, "They just might sqeak/crawl by the first round of the state if they get the best draw of any of the 16 teams". That's hogwash..........

I would have to say that the crowd at tonight's game was probably the largest Menifee County has ever seen!! There was not a seat left on either side of the court with fans in all four corners and along both endzones!! :scared:

 

Thanks to all the Bath County fans what were also cheering us on. It's always nice to see the small schools pull together in support of one another.:clap:

Is this about me? I've got nothing but respect for Elliott Co. I think the better team won the game and I do wish them luck in the state tournament. I just pointed out that all teams in this tournament are small schools.

 

Trying to run with Elliott Co. will prove to be a lot of teams downfall. If teams, at least in this region, have a chance against them they need to slow the pace and pray that EC shoots poorly.

Although this is not really the topic at hand, I would say your statement of RH's "large geographic area" placing them in a more unique enrollment situation is less than accurate with the practice of open enrolment. Elliott County also participates in this practice which makes your argument mute. I am not talking about any players, but the general student population.

 

I believe EC has earned the right to keep this thread alive. But I will defend the practices of Rose Hill when challenged. I am not a moderator nor do I want to be one. But please keep your comments specific to the game and not at me or Rose Hill. I will be happy to debate this with you in another thread.

Really was proud of the Lions last night. Way off my prediction, I haven't seen Rose Hill and expected more from them. They have a young team with alot of up swing coming in the near future. Happy to see the boys get another tough win. I think that it is a shame that Go Lions!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry was in the middle of typing and hit enter. I think that it is a shame that Chris Knipp was not on the all tourny team. I wish that he would have got rewarded for his performances, he done a great job.
