:clap::clap::clap:I think where kids are from and where they attend school is a mute point for all schools. The main thing people are forgetting is that these kids still have to play well together in order to achieve success. This is why I believe EC is a VERY good high school team that has a great chance to succeed at the All A state. Congratulations EC and Represent our Region like we know your capable of, with pride, and Unity.

 

I am not a EC "fan", But I WILL support them and root for them in the state ALL A.

Just saw the box score and Chris Knipp was the 2d leading scorer with 18 points and 2 treys. Chris was the only starter who didn't make the All-Tournament team, but he played good basketball during the tournament and deserved a spot IMO. I guess you just don't put the whole starting five on the All-Tournament team?? I remember the quote, The sum of the parts is greater than the individual. This Elliott County bunch is a TEAM and all the parts can hurt you in a bunch of different ways on any given night.

 

I agree, Chris Knipp played exceptionally well and contributed to the wins in each game. He definately deserved to be on the all-tourney team. Way to go Chris we are very proud of you!!

Don't most tournaments have a limit on the number of players from each team, 4 to the first place team, three to the second, etc. with every team getting one.

Whether written or un-written I think you are right. No matter how small or large the tournament I have never seen more than 4 players from one team on any All-Tournament Team. In the fairness of sportsmanship they try to get as many players from all the teams they can represented.

Some people need to learn how to pay attention to warnings. This one is done.
