Whitley plays hard, but the Hounds get the easy win.:notworthy:

Anyone have any stats?

Yep.

Manns 14, Johnson 14

Lowrie led Whitley with 14.

How'd this one shake out? Corbin get up big, sub down, and Whitley cut it closer? Corbin pull away at the end or did it stay about 20 throughout the game?

Corbin was up about 10 or so at the half. Jumped on Whitley early in the 3rd and never looked back.

Corbin led 20-15 at the end of the first, and hit four straight threes to open up the second and cruised from there. The Hounds led 39-25 at halftime.

Corbin was up 28 when Coach P began subbing down. The JV won another one too. Both squads are playing well. Big test again on Tuesday at SL.

Corbin is rolling! Radio said this was 15 in a row, 18 and 2 overall, they will be a tough out for anyone the rest of the way!

Whitley gave Corbin all they wanted, especially during the first half. If Corbin is not hitting from the outside like they were in the 2nd quarter, this one could have been in doubt until late in the game.

You have to give Whitley a lot of credit for how hard they played last night as they really scrapped and hustled to stay in the game. I thought that Lowrie, Crawford, Storms and Prewitt all played well for the Colonels as did Manns, Hendrickson, Smith and Wilson for the Hounds.

Who is #5 for Whitley? He looks like he is going to be a good point guard down the road for the Colonels.

D Butcher, He is just a sophmore and he gets better every game. He is a really good on ball defender and has stepped up his jump shot and can be deadly from long range. D has come along to help the colonels tremendously and will be a huge asset to the program as he gets older.

Don Butcher can really become a great player, and could have played better last night but really tired from the JV game plus was having some other problems too. I thought the dunk by Lowrie was the best I have seen in several years, he threw it down with authority.

Corbin continues to prove that they are going to be team to be reckoned with. I can see them playing on Saturday in the Sweet 16.

Nice win for Corbin :thumb:
