Didn't Bryan Station beat Holmes this season? I don't understand your logic?

Bryan Station beat Holmes in the SECOND game of the year on a neutral court. Holmes beat them two weeks later on STATION'S HOME FLOOR by 18. I'd say the second game between the two was a better indication as to who was the better team. Not because Holmes won, but for the simple fact they won on Station's floor and in the championship of Station's tournament.

It still count's as a loss regardless of when you play it. First game or last game of the season. They could also play again and Station win # 3. That is why they play the game's.

I just personally think that first game was a wake up call for them. Since that loss they've won 15 in a row and have given up more than 60 points just twice.

You also havent played alot of teams that score alot of points either. I believe that Holmes is a excellent team and you have won 15 in a row but your schedule hasnt been that difficult either.

OK, still don't see your logic. Holmes beat Scott Co. in the FOURTH game of the year on a neutral court. Scott Co. just beat Bryan Station on Bryan Station's home court by 27.

Your always try to spin things to Holme's advantage.

I agree Holmes is a very very good team and you are the biggest fan that Holmes has, but why do you always have to make the Holmes team and players "king of the mountain" and every other team out there "second class citizens". You always have to one up everyone that post on this site.

You say Elliott does not play any competition, they only have one loss. You talk about Holmes W/L record but don't recognize Elliotts W/L record.

You talk about Scott Co. having a worse W/L record than Holmes, but if you look at Scott Co's schedule, they have played a tougher schedule than Holmes, but you don't recognize that.

You talk about common opponents, Boone Co. beat Conner by 16, but Holmes only beat Conner by 7. You say Boone is in the 2-10 ranked teams that is in the 9th but you say that the second best team in the 9th is a very distant second.

Man, other people on here have teams just like you do. I'm glad you're proud of your team, but let other people 'thump their chest" a little too without constantly trying to "one-up-them" with the Holmes team.

Good luck to all teams out there!

You also havent played alot of teams that score alot of points either. I believe that Holmes is a excellent team and you have won 15 in a row but your schedule hasnt been that difficult either.

Holmes has played 4 games against top 10 teams (6 against top 20) and 3 of those games were against top 5. Using the computer system, Holmes has the 3rd toughest schedule in the state. To question Holmes schedule is somewhat comical.

As far as the teams not scoring a lot of points, I'd say that has a lot to do with Holmes being a good defensive team. Holmes held Scott Co to their lowest point total of the year (65 points...16 below their season average of 81) and also held Ballard to 42 points. (They scored 70 against SC)

Holmes opponents combined are averaging 64 ppg.

Their average in their games against Holmes?

48 ppg and that average goes down considerably if you take away the first Bryan Station game.

Holmes has won 15 in a row because they are simply better than the teams they are playing. It has nothing to do with level of competition. (Which again is comical considering they've played 6 games against top 20 teams...Seneca, Franklin Co, Ballard, Bryan Station 2x, and Scott Co.)

Glad to see the Atari is still working hard cranking out these ratings. The mere fact EC gets higher ratings for beating and even scheduling a team like Fairview is a joke. I think we have seen this before EC pounds away at second tier teams and then comes to Rupp for their annual beat down. Maybe they can get to Saturday this year.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Elliott played Fairview in the All A Classic 16th Region Tourney.

Elliott lost 66-62 to Mason Co. last year in the 1st Round and I think Mason did pretty good in the State Tourney after that.

OK, still don't see your logic. Holmes beat Scott Co. in the FOURTH game of the year on a neutral court. Scott Co. just beat Bryan Station on Bryan Station's home court by 27.

Your always try to spin things to Holmes advantage.

I guess I'm the only one who does this for the team I support....right?:lol:

I think you might want to check some of my recent posts. I've actually stayed out of Elliott Co threads other than to congratulate them on a win and I ALWAYS give other teams and players around the state credit. That stuff goes unnoticed though...right? I simply call it how I see it. Some people respect me for it, others don't. :idunno:

I've seen a lot of the teams and players that I speak of and actually work for a local rivals site during basketball season so I'd say I have a pretty good understanding and knowledge of what I'm talking about. Anyone who knows me personally will be the first to tell you that.

You talk about Scott Co. having a worse W/L record than Holmes, but if you look at Scott Co's schedule, they have played a tougher schedule than Holmes, but you don't recognize that.

Hmm...see my post before this one. I state Holmes has the third toughest schedule in the state. I know Scott Co has a tougher schedule. Doesn't mean anything though to be honest. People criticized Holmes last year for their schedule and all they did was head to the state championship game with a 34-2 record and knocked off the #1 team in the state and a top 20 team in the nation on their way there.

You talk about common opponents, Boone Co. beat Conner by 16, but Holmes only beat Conner by 7. You say Boone is in the 2-10 ranked teams that is in the 9th but you say that the second best team in the 9th is a very distant second.

Anyone from nky will be the first to tell you that the #2 team (whoever it be) is a very distant second from Holmes. It's not like I'm the only one saying it.

But when other team's fans proclaim every out of state team they played would be top 10 in the state or best in the state, that's not trying to "one up" or "thump their chest" to make their wins look better...right?

BTW...catch anything lately? :sssh:
