Final.

Up until this game I thought Trinity might be a Top 5 Seventh Region team. Getting beat by almost 30 points surprises me. Thought Ballard would win by 8 points or so. Trinity only had one loss coming into this game.

Yes I know and that was to GRC.

Could not handle the Ballard press.Ballard had very high shooting percentage.

Probably like a lot of folks - not surprised by the Ballard win, but surprised by the margin.

Football season is over.

Wasn't really the press. T only had a few backcourt turnovers and probably only 15-20 total for the game. It was more failure to protect defensive glass, difficulty keeping Cox and Chlies from getting to the hole for easy layups, and Ballard got EVERY loose ball. Ballard came out hot, got an early lead and controlled tempo from there.

Have to give Ballard credit as this is the best I've seen them play in several games this year. They were really fired up for this game!

Wow big win for Ballard. Not surprised they won, but definetly surprised by the margin.

Hate to see the outcome of this game for several reasons. Szabo is a good guy and seems to be doing as much as possible to better the Trinity program. The other is I like Renner about as much as I like Beatty.:lol::lol:

Keep your heads up Szabo and team!!

Wow! Didn't think this one would be a blow out.

Football season is never over.:thumb:

The Rocks will see you 1/30 at Freedom Hall.

As far as this game went, Cox was on fire. Ballard's overall team quickness shook the Rocks from the get go. Speed and quickness rule in high school basketball. It's a shame not all of Ballard's best basketballers play football.

Harrison and Corbett played well and the Rocks were within 10-12 most of the game. You never know how the region matchups will shake out. The Rocks need to earn their way in of course by winning a district playoff matchup, probably a rematch with Seneca.

Of course Sewell could be a Div 1 prospect in football. He had a very difficult time trying to guard the smaller and quicker Cox and may be a "tweener" for Div 1 basketball.

Little could of had an impact on the gridiron as well. Only two footballers, Kupper and Nix made the basketball squad.
