lol? Why? I'm a woman and I could ref a boys game just fine. I coached them pretty well too.

I know, but that doesnt mean ALL women should not ref boys games. I'm more than capable and I know of a few others who could as well. I mean there are some men who shouldnt be reffing boys game, but you didnt say "thats why men shouldnt ref boys games" lol.

The men refs understand that the whistle shouldn't be blown every time down the floor. They understand that the boy's need to just play, especially in the post.

I understand that as well. It's not women, lol. It's some women. Just like some men are terrible refs as well.

All jokes aside, There are some men who are just as bad and shouldn't ref boys games either, but honestly the men on the crew last night seemed to have much more basketball knowledge than this women. This has been the case in every game where there's been a 3 "man" crew with a woman involved that I've seen....including games at the state tournament and last year in the 9th region tournament when a down state region sent a woman official up.

I agree there are very bad men officials as well, but the women that ref in the 9th region should be officiating strictly girl's games.

Boys are going to be MUCH MORE physical than MOST girls, which the women referee obviously didn't seem to understand during the Holmes/HC game. Both sides' fans were pretty hard on her because of the ticky tack fouls she called and the ones she missed that were in her area.

I agree, she even called a few "phantom calls". I had no clue where they came from. I think sometimes she blows the whistle just to do it.

There's certainly a lot of "bleacher officiating" from the few games I watched with you. Particularly on activity that goes on down in the post.........:lol:

 

And I don't remember taking a notepad to any games this year. I have taken my laptop to several though since it's apart of the line of work I'm in during the winter/basketball season. :sssh::thumb:
