How much credibility do you guys want? Almost everyone has said that Elliott is one of the top 5 teams in the state. Is that not enough? Enjoy the ride it could be a once in a lifetime event and quit trying to convience people how good they are, if they can't see it then there is nothing your going to write that will change their minds.

 

Great job by a team that anyone who knows anything about basketball, heart, and effort appreciates.

I for one think this one is the one that broke the camels back. They just defeated the #1 team in SC (returning State Champs) by 13pts and had them down by as many as 18 at one time.

I agree with you. It is quite an accomplishment to beat a defending state champ. However, basketball is a WEAK sport in SC. [i'm from there, believe me I know]. Elliot is a top 5 team in KY no doubt, and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. Until they play Holmes or Scott Co [and they may have played Scott Co, im not sure]..it would be VERY hard for me to say they are the best in the state.

Maybe, not at this point, but they are right there with Holmes, J-town, Franklin, etc. Scott Co. is overated. I've watched them play 3 games so far and they are probaly top 5, but don't think they are top 3

I agree that Scott Co is overrated. Well they WERE. Now everyone has seen them for what they are. A good ball team, but not top 2 or 3 in the state. Holmes is number one, and beyond that I'm not sure what order to rank the teams you mentioned. They are all right there together.

I would be careful about underestimating Scott Co.

No one is underestimating them, just said didn't think they were top 3, maybe top 5.

And yet, they still could beat anyone on a given night, but from the past performances I've seen this season they've got some more work to do.

And I was never underestimating Scott Co.

Scott Co isa top 5 but not top 3 IMO. They can win it all just as numerous others can this year. This Scott Co lacks depth, quickness & that typical D from them which we are use to seeing.

In South Carolina there is a class system for basketball. Also I believe a lot of the private schools (if not all) has their own league. Is Myrtle Beach ranked #1? Its hard to go on something that happened last year.
