The Steelers were going to take if instead of Sweed with their next pick.

I agree with Colonel Crazy, 2nd rounders should contend for playing time. I hope he pans out, but they did stretch a bit to take him in round 2. The Bengals depth wise weren't/aren't deep enough overall to stretch for a WR in round 2.

Until Mesmerized Mike and Krazy Katie hire a GM, the Bengals will continue to flounder in futility. They burnt out a good coach and trying to wear down a future Hall of Fame QB. However, if I'm in their shoes and I'm making the profit they make year in and year out, I'd probably continue down the mile of mediocrity as well! Go Bengals - I'll just be watching for free from home, if at all.

So would this be considered a good season for Cincinnati?

I like the Chiefs but I can't stand Larry Johnson or Herm Edwards.

Herm Edwards isnt much of a coach.

I know this has been said multiple times, but I still cannot believe they didn't trade Johnson to the Redskins for the 2 first rounders. The Bengals were just being stubborn and trying to prove a point and they passed up a deal that could help tremendously in turning this franchise around. I mean Moss went for one 4th round pick. If the Bengals had those picks, they could fill most of their needs and be a very dangerous team and a lot of fun to watch the next few years.
