That is an amazing story, I wish other fans could see this. Heck I might even try to figure some way to place it in my program for the upcoming football season. Awesome story....

Touching story. Those young men will always remember it. With the Lord's help it could turn things around in their lives. :thumb:

Idealistically, the eventual outcome of incarceration is rehabilitation. I know that this is not always realistic, but the social worker in me must applaud this coach and all the kids on both teams as this could be the one place and thing that allows these young men to turn their lives around.

 

Ramey Estep (in Boyd County) is not a "maximum" security placement, but if you've ever been there those kids lead a very strick schedule. I've worked with several (both placing them into the facility and after they've been released) kids from there and would love to see something like this started as they begin to work threw their levels.

I don't believe the KHSAA would sanction such a game. I'm not sure if this would meet the guidelines for a scrimmage in Kentucky.
